A 74-year-old woman was bitten on the legs by two unleashed dogs Wednesday at Strathmore Park in Stony Brook.
Suffolk police say it happened around 2 p.m. The woman was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital for injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
A report of the incident and the dogs’ records were sent to the Town of Brookhaven, Suffolk County SPCA and the Suffolk County Department of Health.
