A child was found unresponsive and unable to breath in a Baldwin pool on Saturday, according to Nassau County police.

Officials say the incident was reported around noon on Central Avenue.

After police and emergency medical crews arrived, the child was airlifted to a nearby hospital.

Authorities have not released the minors age or current condition.
