Police say two people were injured after an explosion at the Arrow Metal and E-Waste Recycling facility in Holbrook early this morning.

According to Suffolk County police, employees of the facility were working at the yard on Lincoln Avenue when a tank was damaged, causing a loud explosion.

Two people were treated for minor injuries, police said.

It is still unknown what type of gas was in the tank. The arson unit is further investigating the incident.
