A 31-year-old landscaper from Central Islip died after being electrocuted and falling from a ladder while trimming trees in Hauppauge on Tuesday, according to police.

Police say Darwin Morales-Martinez was working at a residence on Richwood Lane when the tree trimmer he was using came into contact with a power line, causing him to be electrocuted and fall from a 16-foot ladder.

He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
