Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man responsible for a bank robbery Friday in Commack.

Investigators say the suspect entered the Chase on Vanderbilt Motor Parkway around 4:45 p.m. and handed a note to the teller demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled from the scene on foot.

Police describe him as around 5 foot 5 to 5 foot 8. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a white dress shirt, black pants and black shoes.
