Multiple power outages caused disruptions across Hicksville Wednesday.

Downed power lines caused delays and cancellations on the LIRR, with no service currently at the Bethpage train station as of 5 p.m.

Service on the Ronkonkoma Branch is also partially suspended through the afternoon rush hour.

The Hicksville Public Library also closed early Wednesday after a fire caused a power outage. It’s the second time in less than a week the library has had to close early.

Hicksville High School and Hicksville Middle School also dismissed students early because of power outages.

The outages and other incidents have left some residents concerned.

“I didn’t see any cars in the parking lot, but I was hoping nothing else had happened like the other day with the bomb threat,” said Dolores Bloomfield, of Westbury.

Officials are working to determine whether the various incidents are connected.
