A Nassau County restaurant that served a customer who later tested positive for measles has reopened.
388 Italian Restaurant on Willis Ave. in Roslyn Heights is now operating with full approval, according to the Nassau Department of Health.
The health department alerted any patron who was at the location that Sunday between the hours of 7:15 p.m. and 10 p.m. that they were potentially exposed to the highly contagious disease.
“We appreciate the cooperation of 388 Italian Restaurant throughout this investigation and their assistance in helping protect public health,” the health commissioner said.
Officials are still urging any individual who was at the restaurant during the identified exposure period should continue to follow
their guidance.
This exposure came the same week that Nassau County confirmed its first case of measles in two years, which was a county resident under the age of 5.
