A new store is now open on Long Island’s East End, and News 12 got a first look inside ahead of the store officially opening to the public.

Target in Bridgehampton is now open.

The new Target is in the building of the old Kmart at 2102 Montauk Highway. Kmart closed in October 2024.

The new Target has groceries, a Starbucks and will soon include a CVS pharmacy.

The store has about 130 employees right now, but the store’s director says they are looking for more workers.

“We are still we are still staffing for the store, we will be staffing for seasonal positions as well throughout the holidays, so definitely excited just to create more job opportunities throughout the community as well.” said Adriana F.

The store opened to the public today at 5 p.m.

The grand opening is on Sunday.
