Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help to identify the person who stole a bicycle from a Suffolk County residence.

The incident happened on Aug. 8 around 7 a.m. at a home on Hammond Lane in Centereach.

A man could be seen on surveillance taking the bike from the front porch of the house, according to Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers.

Anyone who believes they recognize this person can contact police at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
