Suffolk police are looking for the person who stole a bicycle from outside of a Suffolk County business last month.

According to Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers, a man was caught on surveillance swiping the bike, which belonged to a customer at the Walmart in Centereach.

The incident happened around 5 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the store located inside the Centereach Mall along Mark Tree Road.

The item, which is valued at $800, was parked in a vestibule at the time of the theft, police say.

Anyone who might recognize the individual is asked to contact law enforcement at 1-800-220-TIPS.

Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest and all calls are anonymous.
