Suffolk police are asking for the public’s help to find two people who they say stole an electric bike from a Melville business several months ago.

Second Precinct Crime Section officers are looking to identify the man and woman who were caught on surveillance taking the item from a Dick’s Sporting Goods.

The theft happened around 7 p.m. on April 18 at the store located at located at 870 Walt Whitman Road, police say.

The e-bike is valued at approximately $800.

Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest.
