A house fire in Port Washington sent several firefighters to the hospital Friday night.
Fire officials say crews were called to a home on White Oak Drive just before 8 p.m.
Crews from Port Washington and several neighboring departments worked to put out the fire, which they brought under control in about 45 minutes.
Officials say 10 people were treated for injuries or medical emergencies, including nine firefighters and one police officer.
Six firefighters were taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Four of them were hurt when part of the home collapsed.
The fire displaced four people.
A cause of the fire was not immediately known but officials say it does not appear to be suspicious.
