The Pizzeria in Babylon is closed for the near future after part of the floor collapsed inside the kitchen.

The East Main Street eatery’s floor gave way near the pizza ovens Thursday afternoon, police say.

It’s unclear why the floor collapsed, but no one was hurt.

A spokesperson for the restaurant called it a structural issue. They said they will open back up once repairs are made.

In a social media post, the restaurant says they are going to reach out to anyone with a catering order, and will prepare it at another location.
