Thousands of eggs will soon be available to Long Islanders through Long Island Cares as part of a price-fixing settlement between the state Attorney General’s Office and egg producers.

A total of 720 cases containing nearly 22,000 eggs are expected to be delivered to the food bank’s Hauppauge warehouse Thursday morning.

The eggs will be available immediately on a first-come, first-served basis.

The delivery comes after Island Harvest received 140,000 donated eggs earlier this month as part of the settlement.
