Fortunoff Backyard Store is planning to open a new 26,000-square-foot showroom in Carle Place.

The store will be relocating its Westbury area operation to the former Sam Ash space at 385 Old Country Road.

“Fortunoff Backyard Store has been part of the Westbury community for more than 50 years, and we are so excited to have a new home,” said general manager Art Daly.

The opening is part of the company’s continued expansion. Fortunoff Backyard Store opened additional Long Island showrooms in Huntington Station and Stony Brook in 2026.

The new location will offer a range of outdoor furnishings, including patio seating, dining sets, sectionals, umbrellas, outdoor bars and weather-resistant storage solutions. The new Carle Place showroom is scheduled to open in early 2027. More information is available here.
