Two refrigerated tractor-trailers caught fire in Nassau County late Tuesday afternoon.
Heavy flames and black smoke could be seen shooting out of the trucks around 4 p.m. on Lawson Boulevard in Oceanside.
The Nassau Chief Fire Marshal says the blaze then spread to a nearby building.
About 75 firefighters from a total of seven nearby departments responded and got the flames under control within an hour, according to fire officials.
There were no civilian or firefighter injuries reported.
The tractor-trailers sustained serious damage, while the building only suffered minor damage.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the fire marshal and Nassau Police Arson/Bomb Squad detectives.
